Founded back in 1984 by Tom Kartsotis, Fossil started out by importing fashion watches that had a retro edge to them. Later in 1990 they brought on a selection of leather goods. They had their Initial Public Offering in 1993. In 2013, they launched their more high-end "Fossil Swiss" watch range that was made in Switzerland.
